How RankLLMs uses cookies and browser storage: theme preferences, aggregate Google Analytics, Google AdSense advertising cookies, and how to control them.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work, remember preferences, and report aggregate usage. Alongside cookies, sites may use similar browser storage such as local storage keys. This policy explains what RankLLMs sets and what third parties may set when you visit https://rankllms.com. 3. Third-Party Cookies
- Google Analytics (aggregate analytics). We measure aggregate pageviews, referrers, and device types. The script is offloaded to a background web worker (Partytown) so it never blocks the page. We do not use Analytics to build individual profiles.
- Google AdSense (advertising). When advertising is displayed, Google and its vendors may set cookies - including the DoubleClick DART cookie - to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or via www.aboutads.info.
- Embedded content. Embedded media (for example, YouTube videos) and external documentation links may set their own cookies once you interact with them. We do not control those cookies; see the provider's own policy.
4. Managing Cookies
All major browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies in their settings (usually under Privacy or Site Data). Blocking or deleting the storage described above may reset your theme preference and poll state, but the Site remains fully usable. Opting out of advertising cookies does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.
