The Layered Step identity
The RankLLMs symbol is built from three layered steps that represent progression from discovery to comparison to understanding. Each step is a rounded panel rotated on a shared angle: Obsidian at the back, Copper in the middle, Peach in front. The overlap and the drop shadow are part of the mark, not decoration.

Guidelines and web implementation
The written guide, the machine-readable tokens and the copy-ready snippets used on this site.
Using the mark
Do
- Use the horizontal lockup on light backgrounds and the dark lockup on dark backgrounds.
- Keep clear space equal to roughly the height of the capital R around the lockup.
- Keep the horizontal logo at least 120px wide on the web, and the symbol at least 16px.
- Use full-colour assets wherever colour is available, and the monochrome symbols when it is not.
- Reference the approved palette and typefaces in this page rather than approximating them.
Don't
- Do not flatten the three panels into solid bars.
- Do not remove the depth and overlap between the steps.
- Do not change the colour of an individual panel.
- Do not stretch, rotate, recolour or add effects to the logo.
- Do not rebuild the wordmark in another typeface.
Clear space and minimum sizes
- Clear space around the lockup should equal roughly the height of the capital R.
- Horizontal logo: 120px minimum width on the web.
- Symbol only: 16px for a favicon, 24px preferred in interface use.
- Print: 35mm minimum width for the horizontal lockup.
