Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

RankLLMs ("we", "our", or "us") is an independent AI research publication operated by founder Lucky Yaduvanshi. This policy describes information processed when you visit https://rankllms.com, use its tools, submit a contact request, or subscribe to updates. It is a description of current site practices, not a statement that one privacy law applies to every visitor or activity.

2. Information We Collect

Information depends on how you use the Site. The Site and its service providers may process:

• Site requests and security: Cloudflare processes the request data needed to deliver and protect the Site, such as IP address, requested URL, browser headers, and request time. Cloudflare's own retention and security terms apply to its logs.
• Analytics: Google Analytics is loaded on the Site. It may process page views, referrers, browser and device information, approximate location, on-page interactions, and a pseudonymous browser identifier. The tag runs through Partytown; that changes where the JavaScript executes, not what the analytics service receives. See Google's Analytics data collection details.
• Advertising: Google AdSense code is loaded on the Site. Google and its advertising partners may process page and ad events, device or browser information, IP-derived general location, and cookie or similar identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize ads, subject to settings and applicable controls.
• Contact messages: The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject, and message. Submissions go to Formspree so the editor can respond.
• Newsletter requests: If you submit the newsletter form, your email address is sent to Web3Forms to process the subscription request.
• Browser preferences: The Site stores your theme choice in local storage. If you request an article summary, the generated summary is cached in session storage for that browser tab.

3. Third-Party Links & Embeds

The Site links to model providers and other external websites. Their privacy practices apply after you leave RankLLMs or interact with embedded third-party content. If you request an AI article summary, the article title and up to 16,000 characters of the displayed article text are sent to a RankLLMs Cloudflare Worker and processed using Cloudflare Workers AI; a generated summary may also be cached by the Site for reuse. The summary request does not ask you to enter a prompt or account details.

4. US Privacy Requests and Advertising Choices

Privacy rights vary by state and may depend on whether a law covers the visitor and the specific processing. Where applicable, you may be able to request access to, correction or deletion of personal information, a copy of information, or to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Google Analytics and AdSense receive information as described above; some laws may classify certain ad-related disclosures as sharing or targeted advertising.

To make a request, use the contact form and select Privacy rights or data request. We may ask for information needed to verify and process it. The current site code does not provide a self-service privacy-preferences panel. Google advertising choices can also be managed in My Ad Center.

5. International Privacy Rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region with privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to request a copy of information, subject to local law. The lawful basis and available rights depend on the purpose and the applicable law. Cloudflare, Google, Formspree, and Web3Forms may process information in countries outside your own; consult each provider's current privacy information for its transfer and retention details. Contact us to exercise a right or ask how it applies to your request.

6. Cookies and Advertising

Theme and summary preferences use browser storage. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage browser storage in your browser settings and advertising personalization in Google's settings. The Site code currently has no first-party preference panel.

• Analytics: Google Analytics receives information about visits and device/browser use as described in Google's partner-site privacy information.
• Advertising: Google AdSense may use cookies or other identifiers for ad delivery, frequency limits, measurement, and personalization. Manage Google ad choices at My Ad Center or Google partner-ad settings. Turning off personalized ads does not necessarily stop all ad measurement or contextual advertising.

7. Newsletter and Push Notifications

• Newsletter: The signup form sends your email address to Web3Forms to process your request. You can ask RankLLMs to remove your address using the contact form. Web3Forms' privacy terms also apply to the information it processes.
• Push notifications: Push is optional and does not restrict access to the Site. The browser permission dialog is requested only after you press Allow notifications. If you accept, OneSignal processes a browser push endpoint, a subscription identifier, and standard technical data such as browser type, timezone and IP address so notifications can be delivered. RankLLMs does not receive your name or email address through this channel. You can dismiss the on-page prompt, revoke permission at any time in your browser's site settings, and use your browser's notification controls to stop receiving alerts.

8. Data Retention and Security

RankLLMs keeps contact and subscription information for as long as needed to respond, manage the requested communication, and maintain appropriate business records. Information held by Google, Cloudflare, Formspree, Web3Forms, or OneSignal is also subject to each provider's retention settings and policies. Do not send payment-card data, passwords, or sensitive identity documents through the contact form; RankLLMs does not need them to answer editorial inquiries.

9. Children's Privacy

RankLLMs is a technical publication for adults working with AI and software. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has sent information through a form.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy when the Site, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
